Either way is fine. I actually prefer text over pictures slightly; greapos being a good example of this.

I love pics with text, but sometimes the artist simply makes the letters hard to read throughout the colors he uses.
I think a good text upgrades a picture high time!

Text with a pic can help make it better, but it has to jive with the pic being shown. Also, I find that having text can in the picture can help make you feel like you are actually that person in the picture, but that may be just my own opinion.

Either way really. A good idea would be to upload a version of the picture before you place text on it, then another when the text is on it. Best of both worlds!

most times I feel text add a lot to the pictures. The only time I dislike text is when the person clashes with my fetish. for example if they seem to want it to happen i more often then not will dislike the pic

I definitely have to agree with you on this one... Adding text to a pic is an art in itself. The better the pic, the more demanding that art is. A good pic can easily be ruined by a bad text, while a mediocre pic has good chances of being enhanced by a decent text. |

Text adds a bit more personality to a pic and it gives the audience a clearer idea of what's going on.

It depends on the image. Some times text can add greatly, other times (if it's badly formatted/written/coloured/positioned) it can detract and make me hate the image. So yes and no.

Some pics don't need text. The picture says it all. I tend to like to add caption to pics though. If I see a pic I REALLY like, I'll save it, add a caption to it, and upload it again on my yahoo group.
